Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you use RevealYour without an account, the text you submit for analysis is sent to our AI engine, processed, and not stored. A session cookie is set to track your anonymous scan usage. When you create an account, your scan results are saved to your account so you can revisit them. We store your email address and name via Clerk (our authentication provider). We do not store payment card details.
How we use your data
Text you submit is used solely to generate your analysis result. Saved scans are stored only for your own retrieval. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your conversations or scan results to train AI models. We use aggregated, anonymized usage metrics (such as number of scans per day) to improve the product.
Third-party services
RevealYour relies on the following third-party services to operate: Anthropic (AI processing - text you submit passes through Anthropic's API), Supabase (database storage for scan history and account data), Clerk (authentication and account management), Stripe (payment processing for paid subscriptions), Vercel (hosting and infrastructure), and Google Analytics (anonymized usage analytics). Each provider has its own privacy policy. None receive your data for advertising purposes.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use RevealYour - for example, which pages are visited and how long sessions last. Google Analytics does not receive the text you submit for analysis or your scan results. The data collected is anonymized and aggregated. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.
Cookies and local storage
We use an httpOnly session cookie (ry_free) to track anonymous scan usage. If you sign in, Clerk sets authentication cookies to keep you logged in. We use browser localStorage to remember your language preference (ry_lang). We use Google Analytics cookies for anonymized usage tracking. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Data retention
Anonymous scan inputs are not retained beyond the duration of a single request. Saved scans in registered accounts are retained until you delete them or close your account. Account information is retained until account deletion. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from account settings.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from account settings, or by contacting us at revealyour.com/contact. You can download all your saved scans from your dashboard before deleting your account. For users in the EU or EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability of your personal data. Contact us at revealyour.com/contact to exercise these rights.
Children
RevealYour is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at revealyour.com/contact.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
